Dallas College Retirees Association Endowed Scholarship

The Dallas College Retirees Association Endowed Scholarship was established in 1985 by retired employees of the Dallas College to assist full-time students who are pursuing the first two years of a bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
  • Must meet the Dallas County residential requirements for tuition
  • Must have completed a minimum of 24 transfer credit hours at Dallas College prior to the period of the award
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the period of the award
  • Must provide a name and email address for a recommendation from an instructor at your respective campus
  • Must answer the supplemental questions –
    Why are you applying for the Dallas College Retirees Association Scholarship? Why do you believe you are a good candidate to receive this scholarship? Describe academic goals and future career plans. Include community service activities you have participated in and/or leadership roles have you held. Provide any further information in support of your
    application.
    Are you pursuing a bachelor’s degree after you graduate from Dallas College?
